When I open a RAW File (NEF for Nikon) with Adobe Bridge Affinity Publisher will start instead Affinity Photo. Why?

Hey j3rry,

I had a similar query earlier. Not sure if it's us or Adobe at fault to be honest. You can try repairing the file associations though.

It's working fine for me.

Hey Chris,

in Finder all is ok only in Adobe Bridge I have this behavior. If I uninstall Publisher all is ok and the File is opening with AP.

hello Chris

The problem still occurs both with JPEG and Raw files. The solution you indicate is only partly. It works only if you right click and choose "Open...."

If I choose "Open with... Affinity Photo 1.8.3." Publisher still opens the file. Also if I choose "Open with... Affinity Designer" Publisher opens the file.

I don't mind putting the default for my raw files to Affinity Photo, but it is not very practical for the JPEG's.

PS Great job with the noise reduction in 1.8.!!!
