Alessariel
I'm using Affinity Designer 1.7.1.404 on Windows 10. I've imported a pdf file of a project I originally started in Corel Draw X4. Import worked correctly, the two pages were imported as two ArtBoards. I can print the first ArtBoard on my brother printer, but the second ArtBoard is shown as red and won't print. I've tried all possible settings. Both Artboards have the exact same size. Anyone got an idea why this is happening? BofG
The red overlay is a bug, it's supposed to show when the page is too large for the paper size, but it shows up regardless. I've not had an issue with it preventing a page from printing, but thinking about it I've only ever printed all artboards - does the second page come out if you select 'artboards' in the range? Does anything go into the print queue when trying to print just artboard 2? There is another bug that sometimes the progress bar shows, but nothing actually goes into the print queue. Sometimes it takes multiple attempts to get something to print.
Alessariel
Hello BofG, if I try to just print ArtBoard 2, the file goes into the print queue but does not print. If I try to print all ArtBoards, only ArtBoard 1 will actually print.
BofG
To be honest it doesn't surprise me, probably there will be people who will suggest it's your printer/driver - I have two printers, one on a PCL driver, one on a PostScript driver - Affinity Designer is super buggy printing on both. I would suggest not to waste your time looking for a solution on your end. If I'm printing anything serious I just save to pdf and print from Adobe Reader. Alessariel
Hm... i guess that's the best workaround. Thank you, I'll do that then!
