HI,

AFPhoto 1.7.1   macOS 10.14.5

When opening a new folder in the finder the thumbnails initially display as the AFP logo and appear (slowly) as an image preview. Some PSD & Tiff files stay as logo thumbnails.

I have tried opening in AFP and re-saving. No change.

"Save with thumbnail" is turned on in AFP Preferences.

Finder "Show Icon Previews" is enabled.

Is this a AFP behaviour? Could this be a Cache Issue?

Also is there an image browser, like Bridge, to use with Affinity files?

thanks

ross

It sounds like a cache issue, but not something we would have any control over. I believe it's Quick Look in macOS that the cache is cleared from, this guide may help in clearing. I would recommend backing up, just in case.

We don't have a dedicated image browser/DAM app, perhaps in the future. Some third party apps may be able to load the embedded preview with our native files but we don't have any information on them, sorry.
