How to get a 100% sized pixel preview while working on MacOS?

Recommended Posts

I've posted a bug about this for the Windows 10 version, and then also the same question for iPad, but I just noticed that I don't know how to do it on MacOS either.

In Windows, you just create a "new view" and then tear that tab off into its own window, resize, zoom and done, but in MacOS, you can't tear off the tab!

On Windows press CTRL+1, on macOS, press CMD+1.

I want a second view to be 100% pixel size, while I'm working in my main view.

On Macs, you need to use the separated windows view mode to show two different views in separate windows instead of as tabs in one window.

(Follow up question: Is there a similar way to get a 200% pixel preview mode?)

Each separated window can be set to any zoom size when it has the focus.

Right, but I'm talking about "pixel preview". Actual pixels at 200% zoom to it looks blocky.

At 200%, some blockiness is expected, since each document pixel is twice its normal size.
