DarkClown Posted July 12, 2019 Share Posted July 12, 2019 Somehow all Affinity programs seem to struggle with fonts. For a customer project I installed Adobes "Helvetica Neue LT Std" as OTF. The font displayed properly in Affinity (Publisher - but it's the same with all Affinity products) with all 51 styles showing up in the dropdown list. So I implemented some styles of the font in my document. After restarting the PC the font group is not available any more. There are 2 seperate single entries of the "Helvetica Neue LT Std" with different styles that do not even appear in my document. They all show up with one single style. All other fontstyles are gone. I tried other applications like libre office and Photoshop and here the fonts are still available and accessible (1 fontset- 52 styles). Not good at all. walt.farrell Posted July 12, 2019 Share Posted July 12, 2019 Publisher Beta 1.7.2.420 had a fix for missing fonts. It's been superceded by 1.7.2.422. It appears that a member of the Affinity QA team didn't get round to fully investigating this specific report posted in the bugs forums. We are very sorry for this oversight. Yours is one of a number of reports that I am posting this apology to, using an automated script. Now we have released 1.8.3 on all platforms containing many hundreds of bug fixes, and we hope your problem has already been fully addressed. If you still have this problem in the 1.8.3 release build, then the QA team would really appreciate you reporting again it in the relevant Bugs forum.
