Text content linked between different layouts

Recommended Posts

Hi,

is there any way to link a text content between different layouts?

For example let's say I have a restaurant menu (that change every season) in different layouts (A3 to be put on a wall, foldable A4 etc..) that shares the same content, is it possible to make it so that just changing the content from a source will update all the linked entity?

In the attached image there's an example where the highlited text have the same content but different laouts (the fonts, height etc.. are the same)

Thank you

You could have one Publisher document with the content that is linked in multiple files and positioned and scaled differently and that could have different background, layer adjustments and effects applied to it. You could also access the source from any of the linking publications by double clicking and edit the contents of the source and it would be updated everywhere (whenever the linking document is opened).

That would be great..but how exactly?
