File crashes Publisher in release version - was fine in beta

Recommended Posts

Is there any way to get the Beta version again? Our is expired.

We have a file that was working fine in Beta. But now blows up in release version, right at launch. F@%K! Need to finish the project. I'm going to get thrown under the bus for choosing to use Publisher instead of tried-and-true software like Indesign.

Help!

You cant go back to the beta

Affinity staff may still have access to it and may be able to open your document and fix it to work in the released version but you will need to upload your document for them to be able to do that.

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

we would need the file. One thing to try would be to break the link to any linked images by changing a folder path(s) and seeing if the document loads. You would then have to relink the images. Long shot but it might work

We do not appear to have received the file. Should we close this ticket?
