Hi everyone!

I'm pretty new to Affinity Design, and I've always been a huge fan of Pixel Art. After seeing this exact tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2U9zTIv9z4M , I thought I should try Affinity Design. Somehow, I don't know why, even following all the steps the lady in the video does, I don't get the hard-edge brush she can use in the Pixel Persona. While it seems that in the tutorial, with every stroke of the pixel tool, the squares kinda snap like in a grid, I just get the typical pixel stroke. That probably means that I'm lacking some settings like grid or something, but I can't seem to figure it out. Does someone know how to be able to get the pixel hard-edge brush while snapping in place while drawing?

Sorry if that wasn't the best explanation ever...

Thanks a lot,

Llibert.

Can you attach a screenshot of how it's appearing for you?

You can enable snapping by clicking on the Magnet icon along the top toolbar in Affinity, that should make the brush 'jump' into the grid (if you haven't got a grid you can click View>Show Grid).

If that doesn't help, can you attach an .afdesign file that shows the issue you are having?
