walt.farrell
Just to confirm: You selected Master A for editing. Double clicked in the single-column Text Frame on the right-hand page. Changed Columns in the Context Toolbar from 1 to 2. And Publisher crashed. If so, it does not crash on Windows, in beta 1.7.2.420. -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. Staff Jon P Posted July 9, 2019 Staff Share Posted July 9, 2019 This doesn't crash for me on Mac or Windows. @Seneca does this only happen in the beta? Can you attach the crash report? Serif Europe Ltd. - www.serif.com

I reopened the saved file today and Publisher didn't crash. Attached is the crash report from yesterday. Staff Jon P Posted July 10, 2019 Staff Share Posted July 10, 2019 Well it seems to be crashing in an area related to text flow which makes sense since adjusting the columns on that frame would adjust the flow of the text of the pages using it, but unfortunately I still can't reproduce it here. Are you unable to reproduce it at all now? It might be that a certain tab needs to be visible to reproduce it (wild guess), or can you think of anything else that might have changed? I've had a poke around disabling/enabling parts of the UI and still had no luck Serif Europe Ltd. - www.serif.com
