taharvey
I'm having a problem in Designer. When I start Designer from scratch the Search Field in help as expected in any MacOS application. But when I load some files (Big Files?), the search field disappears and won't come back. This is a frustrating problem. (BTW This is an awesome feature of MacOS, cause you can use the search as a "command line" for functionality you know exists, but don't know where it is in the menubar.) Staff Sean P Posted July 9, 2019 Staff Share Posted July 9, 2019 Hi taharvey, I've just tried this myself using Mojave 10.14.3 and I've been unable to reproduce this behaviour when opening lots of files (some of them very big). What version of macOS are you using? Does it only happen when loading a specific file at all? If so could you attach that file please? Staff Sean P Posted July 12, 2019 Staff Share Posted July 12, 2019 Would it be possible for you to attach the document to our internal Dropbox using the link below please? Do you have to do anything in the document, or is loading it enough to trigger it?https://www.dropbox.com/request/9cn0JnLXGHnaBeLK9urH Thanks! Michael Anderes
I have this problem too. My document is less or more empty, I just created some styles. This bug is very annoying because I'm new to Publisher and need to search for various menu items. Isn't there work around yet? Thanks for help.
