palinika Posted July 8, 2019 Share Posted July 8, 2019 Some symbols, when dragged into main pane, correctly register as symbols in the Layers panel. Others just register as a group. I have sync on when using both these symbols. This makes it impossible for me to edit symbols in a consistent way. See attached video for example. Workaround: Drag the symbol onto the canvas. Ungroup it. Regroup it. Create a new symbol from the new group. Unfortunately there is going to be a very specific set of actions you would have done that got those symbols into that state. I've just tried myself a few things but wasn't able to replicate it.
