Hi,

When I installed Publisher 1.7xxx I also had to also update the Photo and the Designer. During this process I noticed that some of the photo's that were displayed on my screen as snapshots have actually channged to only disply the Affinity Photo logo. The photos were .jpg and .png.

How do I get the pictures back to showing as pictures again?

It's only now I have got around to asking.

Just right click on an JPG/PNG and select Open With>Choose Program and one the next window select whichever program you want to open JPG/PNG and make sure you have a tick in the box 'Always use this program' and thats it :)

Hi Stokerg,

Thanks for response..... BUT..... see below... this is what I get when I do as I thought and  you also suggested.  I should be able to go somewhere else in the OS to set it, but for whatever reason I can't find it.:S

Any ideas??? Please

Doesn’t the ‘Choose another app’ option take you where you want to go? :/

HI Stokerg & Alfred

Just nicked this off internet.... It worked.

Quote
  1. Open File Explorer. . ...
  2. Open your folder. ...
  3. Click the View tab. ...
  4. Click the Options icon. ...
  5. Click the View tab. ...
  6. Uncheck the "Always show icons, never thumbnails" box. ...
  7. Click Apply, then click OK. ...
  8. Make sure your folder is displaying the proper viewing option.

Sorted now, pictures instead of affinity logo.
