Object stacking order

Recommended Posts

It is an automatic translation. I'm sorry
I want to change the stacking order only with overlapping objects
Other vector software can do that

Just select the blue object in the Layers panel and drag & drop it right under the red object.

I thought of that two, but  the OP seems to have asked for a "1-click" operation, so that may not be what's needed.

@takeru: Do you really mean "1-click", and if so, which other software allows it and what does the interface look like? And does it really work with unrelated layers in the middle as you showed in the Layers panel? As you've noticed, Affinity's "Forward 1" isn't aware of the visual overlaps, and simply moves an object one layer forward, not one overlapping layer forward.

What I do is select the objects and then group (Move that in the Layers Studio to where I want it to be) and then ungroup. The three circles will be together.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Thanks for your reply

I knew I could drag and drop layers, but
As objects increase, it also takes time to find layers.

Grouping is a good idea, but it also takes time to group in order to change the stacking order.

My design is very difficult to manipulate, as hundreds of figures and characters overlap intricately.

I use shortcut keys, so it's best to do it with one click.

In free inkscape, only overlapping objects are prioritized and ordered.

I hope that in the future this will be such a specification.

Thank you
