rneedle Posted July 4, 2019 Posted July 4, 2019 Folks, I add an HSL layer to the Background, and place a target to get a readout of the color--all fine. But when I adjust the HSL layer, while the photo changes, the readout of the colors does not change. Have rebooted program but it doesn't help. Perplexed, Richard Quote
Ron P. Posted July 4, 2019 Posted July 4, 2019 (edited) Hi @rneedle and welcome to the forums, What OS are you running, Mac or Win? I'm on Win10 and so far not able to replicate what your seeing. You do have to release the mouse button or stop moving the slider to allow the Info to update. Have you tried using the Picker on the HSL Shift adjustment, and pick the area next to where you placed the Info target? To use the Picker, you need to first select one of the color dots, preferably one that is in the color range you want to shift. Also are you aware that you can have more than 1 Info Targets? Just press the hamburger menu located in the top-right of the Info window and select Add new sampler. Then drag out another target to your image. FWIW, I'm going to do a short screen video to demonstrate this. info_hsl.wmv Edited July 4, 2019 by Ron P. add video Quote Affinity Photo 2.6..; Affinity Designer 2.6..; Affinity Publisher 2.6..; Affinity2 Beta versions. rneedle Posted July 4, 2019 Author Posted July 4, 2019 I have. A Time Machine backup had the same problem so I am thinking that my macOS is the problem. Having some problems with a defective Spotlight app. Am reinstalling... Thanks for your interest. Richard Quote
rneedle Posted July 4, 2019 Author Posted July 4, 2019 Reinstall of Affinity Photo did not solve the problem. So now it seems that the issue is my System and not a problem of interest to this Community... Quote
