Aside from creating a wine glass shape, what would you want the tutorial to include?

I'd like to create an empty wineglass, nothing INside, but a decoration of sorts on the OUTside.

I've looked at various tuts that are doing somewhat similar, but they all are done 100% with Photo, whereas I'd like to use Designer, it possible.

I suppose I could use a picture and amend it, but I see it as a challenge to use Designer.

Maybe too much of a challenge eh ? ;)

The gauntlet laid and taken up Sir catlover, I'll have a go at making a video later and hopefully, to coin a phrase from A Knights Tale, I shall not be weighed, I shall not be measured and hopefully I'll not be found wanting lol!

OK, but do you want something that looks more photo-realistic or more cartoonish, or perhaps adopts some other style? Would you prefer for it be 100% vectors, vectors plus editable text, or is some rasterization OK? Is it your intention to combine this with other elements in a larger project, perhaps with additional lighting effects? What about perspective effects, like if looking down at an angle on a wine glass on a table vs. straight on so the rim & base are flat shapes with no apparent depth?

My point just is there are many different ways this could be done, so it would help to know more about which one(s) you are interested in.

Oh, my goodness : and here I was, thinking of just an empty wineglass with a simple decoration ........

Well, basically that's still what it is suppoed to become : an empty wineglass with decoration.

Photo-realistic would be just the ticket I should think, but still made in Designer, not Photo.

Thanks

To me, the glass is always half full. Be it with red, white or rose .

For me, if it is decent red or a very dry white, it is likely soon to be empty. xD
