creative_bean Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 I'd love to be able to turn the blue frame edges surrounding text boxes on and off (preferably, without having to turn off all guidelines, margins, etc.)—in other words, the equivalent to ID's "Hide Frame Edges." I know I can temporarily view the document without them by hitting the space bar, but I want them to stay off—to be able to work without them there. Is there a way to do this? Quote

walt.farrell Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, creative_bean. As kazrbutler said, View > Show Text Flow is a good guess. One warning: if you turn off Show Text Flow then if you have any Text Frames that have overflowed (too much text) you'll have no way of seeing that condition unless you have the Text Frame selected. With Show Text Flow on you'll always be able to see if Text Frames have overflowed, even if they aren't selected, as they'll be marked by red dots.
