Context menu not available when selecting curves adjustment layer

Recommended Posts

Hello,

very new to the program. I am trying to apply a curves adjustment layer. When I choose curves from the adjustment studio under the photo persona nothing happens. I don’t get a context menu with the curves graph or the option to create a preset. In the picture attached, I have “clicked” the curves option top right but I don’t get the expected menu at the bottom center.

Any help appreciated

Thanks in advance

Bit of a trap for beginners. The default adjustments and filters are under the Adjustments and All Filters menus. The other menus are for saved presets. No saved presets provided for curves so it appears empty.

Thank you so much. It’s kind of odd that in order to apply an adjustment layer, if you don’t have a preset created, you have to endlessly scroll rather than select from a menu. They could at least add an “add preset” button.

Fortunately many of the filters and adjustments can be reached by selecting from the menu. For example, tap All Filter then scroll down to Blurs. The new menu offered lists only the Blur filters. Less scrolling. Most work this way but the empty ones are the ones available for saving presets. Not too bad when you get used to it :)
