George HB Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 Hello, I'm making the transition from 20 years of using PS to Affinity, and cannot find any way to change the file format from color settings to greyscale. Am I missing something? The image looks b&w, but there is color in the file when I open a PDF in Acrobat. Help, please!! George Quote

George HB Posted July 3, 2019 Author Posted July 3, 2019 firstdefence, Thanks for your reply. Your suggestion was spot on. I need to be able to generate a b&w file of photos, since a do a lot of digital photography, both b&w, and color. Affinity seems like it'll be a good replacement for PS, it's just a steep learning curve, having used PS for so long I have that muscle memory thing happening. Now that I've worked through a lot of the AP tests, I'm going to spend some time on Designer, to find out if it will work for my workflow. I already have found 1 feature AI has that I do need occasionally, which is the Image Trace function. Quote
