How to create a Rose Gold Foil texture : Tutorial needed :)

Recommended Posts

Hi Affinity Gurus!

I'm new to the Affinity Suite, and want to create my own Rose Gold Foil texture.

Can anyone direct me to a tutorial on metallic foil texture creation?

Once I create it, I'm glad to share it as a free resource in this community!

Thank you in advance!

Tia

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Which texture in rose gold would you like to create?

Do you want a smooth satin sheen, a glossy finish, or something more textured, with creases,  https://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=Rose+Gold+Foil+texture&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 pick something from the results and let us know, I could probably knock out a video for ya.

here is a video I did a while back that shows how to create a gold foil effect in Photo.  By changing the colours I used you can get a nice rose gold look.  And in 1.7 you can use the procedural texture live filter to adjust the foil look after the lighting has been applied!

oops the link to the video might help!
