geometry Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 I want to import the attached svg into Affinity Designer. However, the image content is placed outside the actual document canvas. The problem does not occur in Inkscape, Chrome or Firefox. Can anyone help on this issue? Could it be an problem with the svg that was generated with dvisvgm from a pdf file? Thanks in advance equations-3.svg Quote
Staff MEB Posted July 2, 2019 Staff Posted July 2, 2019 Hi geometry, Welcome to Affinity Forums We already have this logged. Select the layer/object in the Layers panel and set the X and Y coordinates to 0 (zero) in the Transform panel to place the object on the canvas again. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
geometry Posted July 2, 2019 Author Posted July 2, 2019 Thanks for our fast reply. Is this a bug in Affinity or is this an SVG problem? Quote
Staff MEB Posted July 2, 2019 Staff Posted July 2, 2019 Some SVG files are not being correctly parsed when imported in Affinity so it's an Affinity issue. Can you attach the SVG file in question so I can add it to the current report to be tested against new/improved code? Thanks. Friksel 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
