Hello,

I am using affinity publisher and just learning.

I have a paragraph with number bullets and at page end numbers are ending with 4.
Now, then I need to move the text box to another page, where I need to start a paragraph with 5. But I can't start with 5.

Or is there any way to expand text frame tool to next page to continue paragraph in next page with a numbering?

Thanks,
Jigar...

I'm not sure I understand "need to move the text box to another page".

If you mean that you need to continue the text on another page, simply click with the text tool on the link icon (triangle on bottom right edge of the current frame), go to your next page, and either click with the tool to get a default new Text Frame, or click and drag to position and size a new frame to your liking. Then just continue adding text. As the frames are linked the numbering will continue automatically.

Or, just keep typing in the first frame and let it overflow, then shift-click the red link icon, and you'll get a new page and frame automatically.

How do I get that paragraph panel open to restart numbering of a numbered list?

You need to scroll down in the panel. Given your lack of a visible scrollbar, I'll guess that you're on a Mac and suggest that you may need to check your MacOS system preferences for your scrollbar settings. But a Mac user may have better advice :)

I feel silly - thank you! I was using the trackpad to scroll down and it actually prevents me from scrolling all the way to the bottom of the panel. I have to manually click on the scroll bar on the right to get there on a Mac. Now I know so thanks again!
