Martien
First of all, kudos for all you over there at Serif for creating this wonderful suite of tools. I am in the process of replacing Adobe’s Creative Cloud completely, in favour of Affinity’s suite. I’m working on my first fairly simple, yet structured document in Publisher. All in all, it works fine. However, I do find that the overall response feels/seems/shows somewhat sluggish at times. Typing text only shows up 300 ms later or so. It’s a minimal delay, so no real problem, but it does show and it makes me wonder. Running Publisher on an almost idle iMac 17 inch (Late 2015), 4 GHz, 16 GB). Dave Harris
Are you wrapping text around groups or embedded documents? That is known to be slow, and can be improved by given them a manual wrap outline.
Martien
Nope. It’s just a landscape multipage A3 doc with a single column and text flow.
