Welcome to the forums :)

Do you have a copy of the font file that's used in the PDF? As the font isn't a default font and we can't read embedded fonts in a PDF your text is brought in using rasterised characters in the form of text objects, as the application can't find the required vector font file to display the font correctly.

Thx for the effort. For the moment it's difficult to check I'm going to Oslo for a week. I think the font was Bordeaux. Correct me of I'm wrong but if I can download the font affinity will not give this error?

It's difficult to guarantee this without the font file personally, however if you have this font installed you should be able to select and edit the text as a vector, not a raster, as the font won't require replacing!
