Bettona06084
I have a picture in an Apple photo album that I cropped using the Apple edit software; I then tried to import it into Affinity for additional processing, but Affinity imported the original uncropped image even though the original no longer exists in the iPhoto album. I realize I can crop with Affinity, but I find Apple’s software easier to use. How can I get Affinity to import the cropped image?

If Apple Photos crop is none destructive (same as Affinity Photo), and I suspect it is, then you can't. All the app is doing is resizing the canvas to align with your crop. Now you only see the parts with canvas. The other parts are still there. AP resizes the canvas, revealing the whole image. Open your cropped image in Apple photo editor and tap crop then tap Reset. Your original image (the one you say no longer exists) will be back. Reset is simply expanding the underlying canvas to reveal the hidden bits of you image.
