Keeping Data / Documents on Another Drive

Recommended Posts

I installed my new affinity photo install on a C drive (for speed) but I like to keep my data/doc files on another drive. For backup and space reasons. Also, I'm planning to move to a new computer soon and I want to keep as little as possible on this drive.

  • I don't see a place to control default directories for files in general, I suppose it will just default to last used.
  • I see how to control plugin directories in preferences.

Any other tips?

Feature request: preference to make this easy.

Thanks!

That's correct, we default to the last used directory.

There isn't really anything else you can configure when using a 2nd drive.  Just remember to save your work onto that drive as saved .afphoto files can get rather large.
