Pasted text background issue

DM1

Recommended Posts

When copying text from Safari web sites the pasted text retains the web background colour eg black text on white background appears as a white block of text on a dark background in Designer. The option for selecting  the Background Color for text doesn't currently exist in the iPad version. The perfect solution would be to add the background colour selection option to the iPad Text Studio or at least set the background flag to transparent for any imported text.

Hi DM1,

You've already let us know about this issue and we've acknowledged that it is an issue and has been passed on to development. There is no need to report the same issue if you've already reported it before.

However if any release notes to explicitly state the issue has been fixed, but is still a problem for you then please do let us know.

Thanks :)

@Sean P Hi Sean, if it helps narrow down the issue, this problem only occurs when Safari is open on top of Affinity app. Opening Safari , copying text, switching app to Affinity and pasting text works properly. At least there is a workaround.
