wilson1990 Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 I'm running into a problem when making an intersecting compound. Basically, the German Flag seems to shift to the point where you can only see the bottom third or so (see video). I've used this function many times and have never seen this before. s.auler Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 How did you create the coloring of the flag? Did you use a gradiant for this? Perhaps these settings got mixed up when creating the intersection. Quote
PixelPest Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 Why not use the curve as a mask? Simple drag the flag onto the path in Layers panel. Quote

Perhaps these settings got mixed up when creating the intersection. I created/exported the flag as another image basically (that way I could use it for multiple things if I wanted to). After creating my outline, I just dropped it in as an image and converted it to a curve. 5 hours ago, PixelPest said: Why not use the curve as a mask? I still am a little puzzled however, like I said in my original post, I've done something similar to this (using a compound) tons of times and it's never done that before. Any idea why it would suddenly behave differently? Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that this was the first time I did it in 1.7? Quote

Any idea why it would suddenly behave differently? Do you have any of these former files in some saved state to recreate this behaviour? This might help to verify the issue. Quote
