Coffee1970
Hello, I know this sounds kind of silly, but how in the heck do I paint in a straight line?In Photoshop, you just hold down the Shift key and move the mouse to paint a straight line, but I cannot figure out how to do this? Probably something extremely simple, but could not find anything in the help files. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Staff MEB Posted June 1, 2015 Staff Share Posted June 1, 2015 Hi Coffee1970, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) I'm assuming you are talking about Affinity Photo. Click where you want to start painting the line, then press ⇧ (shift) and click again where you want it to end. LilleG
That works fine if all you want to do is paint a straight line. But if you want to paint a straight and level line, you either need to use a grid (extra trouble) or have a very good eye for level.
