Photo - How to add a "screenshot" layer?

Recommended Posts

When I used to use PS there is an option called "Apply Image". I only ever used default settings and it essentially just creates a new layer as the image currently is, almost like you've saved the image, and then added in back as a new layer. This was an essential part of my workflow. Is there a way to do this on Affinity Photo?

Wow, Paul... Even after opening Photoshop and trying the "Apply Image..." feature in Photoshop, I still don't understand what the original poster is trying to accomplish. How'd you decipher this and make your way to Affinity Photo's "Merge Visible" feature?? :4_joy:

Comes with age and working in R&D for years and years means I’m used to interpreting unclear requirements :4_joy::4_joy:
