Paresh
Hi - I dnloaded a macro called distortions, I don't remember where I got it from. It worked great at first & now not at all. I rednloaded but no change. Anyone else have this macro, or this issue? Thanks. Chris B
Alfred
The ‘Distortions’ macros came with one of the free updates (1.5 or 1.6). For any users who don’t already have the Force Macro Pack Vol. 1, it’s available for download from here: https://affin.co/macropack Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.5.1 (iPad 7th gen)
Paresh
Thanks. I downloaded again & still little to no change in my image.
Alfred
Does the image show in the Layers panel as an ‘Image’ layer instead of a ‘Pixel’ layer? If so, do you get a different result by right-clicking on the layer and choosing the ‘Rasterize...’ option before applying the macro? Paresh
It says pixel layer. i do notice that I select the layer first, open the macro & the layer automatically gets deselected. Tint or noise will have an effect on the image, but not the main distortion sliders.
carl123
The 3 macros in the distortions macro pack all use Equations as their main component These work fine in 1.6 but not at all in 1.7 Without knowing the specific equations used it's impossible to suggest a workaround or fix Your only choice seems to be to log this as a bug in the hope that someone (Serif?) releases an updated version or can show what equations were used so you can do your own investigations/corrections Chris B 1 Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Paresh
Thank Carl. I did report the bug...it was a cool effect. I''ll post a separate image using the macro.
