jackamus
A was rotated from 0deg to 25deg using the rotation handle which is OK. B was rotated by entering 25deg in the transform box and it went off centre. Why? Rotation 2.afdesign anon1 1 Quote If voting made any difference it wouldn't be allowed! A_B_C
Hi Jack, are you sure you have selected the correct center of rotation (left of the numeric input fields on the Transform panel)? Could explain the difference perhaps … see my video (figure C is wrong, figure D is right, so to say) … Cheers, Alex :) Center_of_rotation.mov anon1

jackamus
Why can't using the rotation handle work the same way as choosing the rotation and inputting an angle? i.e. select the rotation node on the Transform tab then drag the the rotation handle and turn about the the selected rotation node. This make intuitive sense! Quote If voting made any difference it wouldn't be allowed! Rules are for the guidance of wise men and the obedience of fools. jackamus
I'll settle for a movable rotation centre as DP had. Quote If voting made any difference it wouldn't be allowed!
