rui_mac
I started out programing when I was 14 years old. When I was around 16, I started doing my own 3D programming. Ever since that early start, I have been using LOTS of 3D apps. Swivel 3D, ModelShop, Ray Dream Designer, Strata Studio Pro, infini D, 3D Studio (not the Max version, I mean the DOS version), AutoCAD, Amapi, Hexagon, Silo, Ligthwave, 3D Studio Max, Cinema 4D, etc. Of all those applications, Cinema 4D clearly stood out as the one that was professional enough and much, much easier to learn and use than all the rest. Also, in Cinema 4D, as long as you know how to use it, you can get the same results as you can get from, lets say, Lightwave or 3D Studio Max (I will not include the big league apps, like Maya, Houdini or Softimage XSI), but in a fraction of the time. It is a very nice application, if someone wants to work in 3D.
