gdenby
New in 1.7, the ability to add multiple strokes and fills to a single curve w/o expanding stroke, or duplicating objects to layer fills one on another. padura
ok, i didn't know this. I focused on the beta of Publisher and not at all on the news of Designer. To create the effect of "above and below" in some points, which is clearly an illusion, I had to transform all the contours into shapes and then cut some parts from superimposition to themselves in order to create the “woven” effect that is what i'm looking for. I work with different materials and I wanted to try to do a work on designers. Thank you! at the moment there is a blackout so I can't access my computer, but as soon as I can post a detail. EDIT I have attached some screenshots, I hope it's understandable. Bryce

I use the appearance studio quite a bit but I'm wondering how do you expand the stroke so you can do the editing that Padura did? Everytime I expand the stroke so I can edit it, I get one or the other stroke, not both. You can't seem to cut the strokes at angles nor do the gradient fills line up if you just slice the line. Bryce
@Padura I'm having fun trying to reproduce what you have made, BUT I can't seem to get the same thing. It's interesting for sure but when i apply the shadows you can see all of my cuts. What's the secret to that? Thanks! padura
