Selective Colouring

I’ve made a selection of some scattered pebbles on a path.  I am trying to use the Flood tool to recolour them. How do I get only the selected pebbles recoloured?  Thanks.

You could use the paint brush. The selection will limit the colour to selected items only. A bit like clipping, so just set a large brush and paint over/around Selection.

You can use fill tool but you need to select flood fill tool, select foreground colour and tap inside each selection. Brushing is probably easier as less precision required.

If you use the ‘Duplicate Selection’ command (in the Photo Persona) you can then add a fill layer and set it to whatever colour you want.

... and it has the benefit of being non destructive.
