1.7.2.146 crash after paste copy merged.

Testing brush stroke response with 8000x8000 pax 300dpi doc. Created 10 layers and rapidly scrawled on all layers. As mentioned in another post the only lag noticed was the first stroke. A brief lag for a second then perfect response afterwards. Fixed!

I selected 3 layers and used the  new copy merged command. All good. Then I used the paste command and pasted in the merged copy layer.Tapped on the new layer and app crashed. The doc was no longer there when I restarted (unsaved).

Sometimes I wonder if a combination of certain layers creates the problems.  In the last vid, what I was doing worked perfectly, but the tire image would not complete the save, the smoky sun image did save with the paste intact but I needed to close the app.  See my notes on the image.

Not quite. I was simply pasting back into the same doc to see what copy merge did. To see the outcome I had to paste it back in. That seemed to work as I saw the new combined layer appear. When I selected the layer the app crashed. I'm assuming TestFlight automatically sends crash data to Affinity devs.

Saving does seem to take forever with large files. I imported a file I edited years ago in PS4. About 200mb. I deleted 3 adjustment layers and replaced with 3 AP Adjustment layers and duplicated background layer. File now 650mb.
