I downloaded the latest version.

Install always fails.

I try to run the current version... says exe not found.

I downloaded 3 times now - just incase I had a corrupt download.

What am I doing wrong?

EDIT I just downloaded the previous version and tried to install - doesn't allow install

Thanks.

Enginstar, sorry we have not addressed your suoort ticket yet, having just released 14 releases across 3 platforms we are a little behind. Thank you for your patience.

Please could you restart your computer from a cold reboot then try installing 1.7.1 again and if (when) it fails Please could you call up the run box by holding down the Windows key and tapping the letter R and then enter the following %temp%\AffinitySetup into the run box and click "ok".  This should open a folder, with some other folders in.  Open the latest folder and there should be 2 log files, Setup.log and SetupUI.log. Please attach these two files to this thread.

Thanks for the reply.

Hmm.. weird... I tried install again just now.

It worked.

I had rebooted before (I think).

All good now though.

I was panicking. I need to edit some images and was just stuck without an editor - I didn't want to torture myself with Gimp again.

(I actually managed to get by, by finding a link for the latest beta.)
