enginestar Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 I downloaded the latest version. Install always fails. I try to run the current version... says exe not found. I downloaded 3 times now - just incase I had a corrupt download. What am I doing wrong? EDIT I just downloaded the previous version and tried to install - doesn't allow install Thanks. Quote
Staff Patrick Connor Posted June 28, 2019 Staff Posted June 28, 2019 Enginstar, sorry we have not addressed your suoort ticket yet, having just released 14 releases across 3 platforms we are a little behind. Thank you for your patience. Please could you restart your computer from a cold reboot then try installing 1.7.1 again and if (when) it fails Please could you call up the run box by holding down the Windows key and tapping the letter R and then enter the following %temp%\AffinitySetup into the run box and click "ok". This should open a folder, with some other folders in. Open the latest folder and there should be 2 log files, Setup.log and SetupUI.log. Please attach these two files to this thread. enginestar Posted June 30, 2019 Author Posted June 30, 2019 Thanks for the reply. Hmm.. weird... I tried install again just now. It worked. I had rebooted before (I think). All good now though. I was panicking. I need to edit some images and was just stuck without an editor - I didn't want to torture myself with Gimp again. (I actually managed to get by, by finding a link for the latest beta.) Quote
enginestar Posted October 7, 2019 Author Posted October 7, 2019 Happened again. Was OK again after a reboot. I think something somewhere must be wrong? Just giving feedback. I'm guessing others are sufferring as well similar? Patrick Connor 1 Quote
