Linking Patterns in Styles.

In PS when I build Type Styles, I think you guys call Artistic Styles maybe, I am able to embed a pattern into the style for an added effect. I have enclosed a couple of examples in the file format of png for you to see. I also have enclosed a screen shot of the area in the Layer-Style-Effect where I do this for you to see how it is called in PS. Any chance of that feature being added. Then it would be good to have a way to be able to convert PS patterns into whatever file type you would come up with for you patterns.

Been a PS user for the past 20-30 years trying to make the switch to Designer just need a few tweeks here and there.
