ale6rbd
Hi there, I'm currently on a trial for Affinity Designer but whenever I try to use a decent quality brush in Pixel Persona it is extremely slow and the program keeps crashing. Also, I can't really open Affinity files above 10 MB anymore as the tool just crashes. i7/16GB if it helps. Is there anything I can do or is this just how Affinity works? Thank you a lot! Staff stokerg Posted June 28, 2019 Staff Share Posted June 28, 2019 Hi ale6rbd, Do things improve if you use a much smaller brush size? Could you also attach the latest crash log from this location: %appdata%/Affinity/Designer/1.0/CrashReports/reports You can just copy that path into the Run Box (Windows Key+R) and click okay, you'll be taken straight to that folder
ale6rbd
I have one crash report as I only got the message to create one once.5e71c8c1-5158-4d8c-b2a5-e9f5fea8c999.dmp
ale6rbd
It's a bit better when I use a smaller brush size but I do need a larger one and it still lags. Plus, Affinity crashes anyway when I have too many elements, again if the file size is larger than 10 MB.
JackieF
I also have this problem when I use artbords bigger then about 2500x2000. Other pixel drawing apps can handle this resolution.
