Just purchased Affinity 2 mins ago (finally).

I had made this bubble artwork some time ago with the beta version, and first time using it!

I have different versions of it, with different software, and Affinity Designer performed very good.

It has a friendly and fast learning curve and no cumbersome actions, or bloating in it.

Congrats!

Isabel.

This is so awesome, Isabel …  :)

(Would love to see the wire frames to get a glimpse of how this magic is worked …)

You can see some wireframes/selected objects for this illustration over on Isabel's Behance page https://www.behance.net/gallery/6940087/Bubble-100-Vector-4-Different-Software-Comparative. The awesome bubble has been recreated in multiple apps, looks fantastic.

Great work Isabel. Nice write up on your site.

Earlier this year; Lent and the run up to Easter period. I was dishing out hard earned Eggies for artwork that impressed me. Next year the award will be changed to Baubles or Baubies (if you're reading this George!). I can't help feeling that this is the way foward...

This is one bubble that won't pop.

As said elsewhere in the forums....Where's the tutorial.

Hi, thanks all

I usually use references for hyperrealistic pieces. Then adapt things for the final illustration, colors, backgrounds, elements.

I am preparing some tutorials at the moment.

They will cover how to look at things, how to create hyperrealistic illustrations, and how to use software and many different workflows.

Get the most out of software by understanding, and getting there.
