Johngo Posted June 26, 2019 Posted June 26, 2019 I can pin a picture frame to text, which defaults to the top left corner of the text frame. Try as I may, I cannot then drag the pin to another part of the text frame. What am I doing wrong? Pimpernel.afpub Quote
PixelPest Posted June 26, 2019 Posted June 26, 2019 I´m not 100% sure; do you expect a different behaviour when the pin is at a different location? What I find irritating is when the Pin is enabled the first key will inset. Quote
Johngo Posted June 26, 2019 Author Posted June 26, 2019 As soon as I set the pin, it jumps to the upper left corner of the text, and cannot then be moved at all. In the tutorial video about pinning, the pin can be moved by click dragging it to a new position. Seems easy enough, but does not work at all for me. Quote
PixelPest Posted June 26, 2019 Posted June 26, 2019 I see now. For some reason it don´t work with the Insert Filler Text. If you have real text you can click&drag the pin to your liking. Cheers Callum 1 Quote
PaulEC Posted June 26, 2019 Posted June 26, 2019 You can change filler text to act like real text in Preferences. Johngo Posted June 26, 2019 Author Posted June 26, 2019 Sorted! Many thanks. Presumably that is because filler text is in fact a text image so has no editable formatting beyond justification. Interestingly, filler text can be pinned to other text, which confirms its status as an image. Thanks again. Quote
Johngo Posted June 26, 2019 Author Posted June 26, 2019 And thanks to PaulEC too. I had not spotted that. Quote
