I had this 'problem' on my MacBook with version 1.6 and it seems to have carried over into 1.7. Not a major problem, but .....

I use the Trackpad on the Macbook, and normally this behaves like a Mouse: the two modifier keys ('control' and 'option') acting as left and right mouse buttons (Mac Mice tend not to have these buttons anyway - these modifier keys are used). However, in the Channels Panel, these modifier keys don't work - I need to attach a mouse with left and right mouse buttons!!

Seems to be only place this happens.

I have a question about where you are clicking on the Channels Panel/Studio; Do you notice a difference with Control Click on the thumbnail verses the name portion?

Also you may be able to set up your trackpad in the OS System Preferences to do more than just click and drag.
