I recently received my Designer Workbook and have a question. It states that it is Edition 1.0 (reprint 5) but also states that it was created for Designer 1.7 and above.

That is confusing. Has it been updated with any corrections errata or include changed content for 1.7 or is this the same version as originally published? If it's the original, is there a list of any corrections somewhere that I need before I start working the exercises?

Yes the workbook has been looked at carefully and each reprint includes a few tweaks and corrections pointed out by users over time.  Reprint 5 is the most recent (6 weeks ago) and we have checked that the workbook is (still) suitable to be followed in version 1.7

Thanks for the clarification. In that case you should probably use point changes such as Edition 1.1 for revisions and corrections.

I am old school, it should say First Edition, Fifth Impression.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

I agree, "reprint n" does not make it clear that changes were made if needed.
