Odd choice using 'Open With' on Mac and Publisher 1.7.1

Recommended Posts

Very strange choice for the open with right click. I have used the Get Info and that states the default is Publisher, I have done the change all too. Double click a .afpub file and Publisher opens it. Choose that QuickLook thing and nothing happens.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.0 | Affinity Photo 2.4.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

QuickLook leftfield review of file when you hit the in the finder. Perhaps Serif/affinity have not created a quick look generator for the finder yet.?

Works correctly for me on High Sierra. Both the Open With and QuickLook.

I don't get the quicklook offer in the 'Open With' list.

QuickLook does not work for Affinity documents in my Sierra 10.12.6.
Though there is a .qlgenerator file within the application package (.../Contents/Library/QuickLook/QuickLook.qlgenerator)

Sounds like you need to rebuild your launch services database.

As I said Double clicking opens the file with Publisher. No problem there.
