Affinity Designer 1.7 - export persona - INCLUDE BLEED

Recommended Posts

Hi,

when I try to export PDF file using Export Persona, I don't see "include bleed" option anymore: https://take.ms/aulsT

It was present in Affinity 1.6. Could you please tell me how to include bleed using Export persona now?...

Affinity Designer 1.7 has so many "workflow" failures compared to 1.6, also regarding the performance, that I wish I never made an update from 1.6:(

Tick the box Include Bleed. You have to have a bleed set for the document. Bleed is not a feature of Photo if that is the application you are using but it is there in Designer.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

@ziemo This is an issue we're aware of and has been passed over to the developers to look into. In the meantime the option is still available if your use File > Export.

It is available in the Export Persona too, you do have to make a slice which will encompass the bleed though.

Do you have any updates on this? When exporting many artboards it's very time consuming to have to use File > Export for something that used to work with one click in previous versions :-( Bleed is super important for printing.
