Chris26
Windows 10 up to date. AfPub crashed twice when I repeated exactly the same workflow: Placed tiff image into doc Selected Pen tool Drew a shape with pen tool no stroke Selected image and converted to Picture Frame Selected the outline of the pen tool and placed on top of image Selected layers panel and attempted to place curve layer of pen drawing onto picture layer. File was recoverable on both occasions. Just repeated it a third time - it crashed again. Kindest regards Chris Quote Microsoft - Like entering your home and opening the stainless steel kitchen door, with a Popup: 'Do you really want to open this door'? Then looking for the dishwasher and finding it stored in the living room where you have to download a water supply from the app store, then you have to buy microsoft compliant soap, remove the carpet only to be told that it is glued to the floor.. Don't forget to make multiple copies of your front door key and post them to all who demand access to all the doors inside your home including the windows and outside shed. Staff Jon P Posted June 25, 2019 Staff Share Posted June 25, 2019 Hi Chris, I've had a go at reproducing this following your steps but am struggling to reproduce the crash at the moment. I'm probably just misinterpreting a step, is there any chance you could create a short video of you following the steps? Thanks! Hi there Jon, forgive my lack of knowledge here but when it comes to video tech stuff I run a mile. Give me time to find a freebie with no watermark and has file export suitable for all platforms. Chris26
Confusingas to know which screen recorder to download, so I will explain in detail with the help of these two screen shots,(unless you can recommend a non-malware, MPEG4, no adverts screen recording device that is free for basic use). The first screen shot is my layout: With layers shown: This second screen shot I moved the pen drawing above the image. I then went to layers panel and dragged that CURVES layer downwards onto the thmbnail_Orchid until a LONG blue line showed, then moved it slightly to the left until a SHORT VERTICAL blue line showed, at this very juncture it crashed. For the fifth tiime in succession. Also here is the associated file if it is of any help. tempcrash.afpub Jon P 1 Quote Microsoft - Like entering your home and opening the stainless steel kitchen door, with a Popup: 'Do you really want to open this door'?
