komakolud
Why export persona available on affinity designer and photo but not on publisher? it is a pretty handy feature if one want to export only a part of document within the desired format. drmajorbob and ashf
Staff Dan C Posted June 27, 2019 Staff Share Posted June 27, 2019 Hi komakolud We decided not to include the Export Persona in Publisher currently, however this and/or a Printing Persona have been requested previously and is something we may add in the future. In the meantime I'll move this thread to Feature Requests for our devs to see and consider! Quote Please note - I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time. Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible. Many thanks! ashf
Without Export Persona, benefits of Studio Link will be crippled. Publisher is basically for publishing/printing that I can understand but many people using Publisher as an alternative to Fireworks for UI/Web design. That's exactly why we have the studio link, so you do NOT need to open the same file in different applications. Studio just needs to add the export persona if the designer is also available. It's a very useful tool.
