Beno
Hi, I am working on a book containing Images and Tables for which I require an index, similarly to how a talbe of content functions based on paragraph styles. Is such a function implemented already? Where would I find this function? Otherwise this would be a nice feature to have in future versions! Cheers! Staff Dan C Posted June 27, 2019 Staff Share Posted June 27, 2019 Hi Beno, Welcome to the forums Unfortunately there's no such feature in Publisher currently, this has been requested previously here - In the meantime I'll move your thread to Feature Requests and Feedback for our devs to see and consider! Quote Please note - I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time. Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible. Many thanks! RM f/g
If it's similar to how a table of contens works, can't you just make a second and third table of contents refering to the captions of images and tables? You can make ONE index and it needs to be Text that is indexed. You may be able to do something with hidden text behind the images. I don't know for certain though.
