Hi,

I am working on a book containing Images and Tables for which I require an index, similarly to how a talbe of content functions based on paragraph styles. Is such a function implemented already? Where would I find this function? Otherwise this would be a nice feature to have in future versions!

Cheers!

Hi Beno,

Welcome to the forums :)

Unfortunately there's no such feature in Publisher currently, this has been requested previously here -

In the meantime I'll move your thread to Feature Requests and Feedback for our devs to see and consider!

If it's similar to how a table of contens works, can't you just make a second and third table of contents refering to the captions of images and tables?

You can make ONE index and it needs to be Text that is indexed. You may be able to do something with hidden text behind the images. I don't know for certain though.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
