1.7.1 Crash on many operations

Recommended Posts

Just upgraded from 1.6.x to 1.7.1 and now the app closes all the time, most notably on keyboard shortcuts like Cmd + Z, but on other actions as well.

Not sure what to do to restore this to a functional working program. It's hard to get any work done.

Mac OS Mohave 10.14.5 on Mac Mini (late 2014), 2.6GHz Intel Core i5, 16 GB DDR3 Memory, Intel Iris 1536 MB Graphics

Thank you,

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

Welcome to the Affinity Forums. Are these crashes reproducible for you? If so could you do a few recordings demonstrating the steps you are doing to cause the crash, and also attach any files you are using. It sounds like the crashes are going to be very document/machine specific.

I'm having exactly the same issue since updating to V1.7.1, app crashes immediately on opening a pre-existing file.

On creating a new file, app crashes randomly during use.

Have uninstalled Designer, reinstalled. Started app using Ctl to clear user data to no avail. App still crashes.

MacOS 10.14.5 , MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2016, Touch Bar).
