Publisher needs to be put in applications folder and verified every time i open it

Recommended Posts

If you are on Mac I would suggest leaving it in the Applications folder. I know of no useful or needed reason to not have the applications in the application folder. I go there as little as possible.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

I'm not sure what you mean about having to verify it every time you open it. Are you sure it is in the root level Applications folder, not in a user domain folder of the same name or in a subfolder? What message do you get when you open the app?

Please could you make sure you aren't running the .DMG file? Does this happen if you open Publisher via Launchpad?

Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.

Also on a Mac I find if it is verified in an Administrator account as opposed to a Standard account can make a difference too.
